Another Eagle is about to take flight in the Zulu District

Jeremy Jones, Troop 61 has completed his Eagle Board of Review and received the Board's recommendation for the rank of Eagle scout. Congratulation goes out to Jeremy Jones and  to Scoutmaster Andrew Mcglory for the providing the environment necessary to advance to the highest rank in Boy Scouts!

A Night to be Recognized

It’s time to say thank you to all of the volunteers that help bring the benefits of Scouting to life in the Zulu District. On Friday, April 27 beginning at 6:30 P.M., we will be holding our volunteer recognition dinner at Mount Olivet Church, 451 West Central Ave., in St. Paul. Enjoy a buffet style, catered dinner & entertainment as we share with you the PAST, PRESENT and FUTURE vision of Scouting in our culture and in our community.

On Your Mark…Get Set…GO!

The Zulu District “Derby Dash” Pinewood Derby is fast approaching. Only $5 for Scouts to race! Fun, food & prizes! Cubmasters,  your racing rosters and all registration fees need to be in to the WEST Scout office by Monday, April 23. Opportunities for Outdoor Family Fun in May & June

Fresh air, warm sunshine, and quality family bonding time. Parents and Scouts, come on out and enjoy the great outdoors at the Zulu District Spring Camporee in May and Camp Akela in June. The Spring Camporee will be at Fred C. Anderson Scout Camp just across the river from Stillwater, May 4-6 cost is just $15 per person. Camp both Friday night and Saturday or just experience one overnight on Saturday. Enjoy a weekend of camping and adventure at Camp Akela, June 25-27. Zulu District of the Northern Star Council focused on the African-American community. We have no geographic boundaries; our service area is the entire Twin Cities Metroplex.  The goal of Zulu District is to provide traditional Scouting programs in traditional and non-traditional ways. To train our youth to make ethical decisions over the course of their lifetime.
